Job Description

Job Summary Title:
Assistant Dining Manager Purpose:
To provide exceptional service to all members and guests of the Club.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in human resource objectives by recruiting, hiring, training, communicating job expectations; planning and reviewing job contributions. Plan and review compensation. Both dining room and bar operations. Avoid legal challenges by conforming to the regulations of the alcoholic beverage commission. Responsible for smooth dining room and bar operations, ensuring staff are properly dressed, arrive on time, and are trained how to serve members and guest. Assure that facilities are ready for opening and closing. Work closely with the Chef and maintenance staff to ensure all Food and Beverage and party functions are set up and a la carte service run smoothly, on time and are properly staffed. Monitor all F&B transactions on the POS system; monitor staff production and efficiency. Ensure a daily opening and closing check list is completed. Make sure all areas are cleaned daily by each shift. Perform daily, weekly and end of month inventories, spot checking supplies and reordering as need to maintain appropriate stock levels. Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing proper sanitation policies and procedures. Book member and guest parties, meetings and receptions, working closely with the social committee. Keep proper function sheets and notify key personnel. Perform other duties as assigned. Exhibit professionalism in all exchanges with employees, customers and members.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years management experience in F&B field preferably in a Club environment.
  • Must possess outgoing personality and present a neat image.
  • Must fully understand the Club's F&B operation.
  • Must be able to multitask.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work a flexible workload, 6 days a week, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Wolf Laurel Country Club is a seasonal club open May-October. The position is on site April-October.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
