As a food service worker, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks, learn a variety of skills, and interact with a diverse clientele daily in a fast-paced The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a correctional (jail) setting and able to successfully pass a background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening. Availability to work shifts beginning as early as 4:00 a.m. is required. This position involves preparing meals in a timely manner, assisting with preparation for upcoming meals, and assembling trays for service while maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role requires the ability to perform repetitive arm and hand movements, stand for extended periods, and lift items weighing 50 pounds or more. environment.

What you'll be doing: Preparing, serving and distributing food, and may require working in various areas of the department, such as the tray line, dish room, cafeteria and storeroom.
