75lb+ Moving kegs is essential part of this job. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to support our busy restaurant or catering environment. The ideal candidate will assist bartenders and staff by maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and ensuring a smooth flow of service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the food and beverage industry within a dynamic hospitality setting. Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or related fields such as banquet, hotel, or restaurant environments is preferred. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies to ensure efficient service. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and surfaces. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including handling light food prep and plating. Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar and dining areas promptly. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety standards in accordance with health regulations. Support event setups for banquets or catering functions as required. Assist with general customer service duties to enhance guest experience in a fast-paced environment. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow during busy hours

Pay:

$10.00 - $30.00 per hour
