Job Description
Job Overview Liberty Christian Center is seeking a dedicated Food Pantry Aide to support our community by assisting with food distribution and pantry operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, strong organizational skills, and experience in food handling. his role involves organizing food donations, transporting items from partner locations, and distributing food to individuals and families in need. Duties Pick up and transport food donations Load, unload, and organize food products (ability to lift 25-50 lbs required) Assist with stocking, inventory tracking, and maintaining a clean pantry Provide excellent customer service to clients, volunteers, and community partners Support mobile food distributions, events, and outreach activities Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Qualifications Must have a valid driver's license Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly Strong organizational and communication skills Dependable, flexible, and able to work independently Compassionate and professional when working with clients Part time position 15-25 hours per week This position provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience in food pantry operations within a community-focused environment.
