Server Assistant/Busser

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and enjoyably. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for the food industry and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Duties Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Assist servers by providing support during busy service periods, including refilling drinks and clearing tables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest quality of service. Engage with guests to provide a welcoming atmosphere, addressing any needs or concerns promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in the kitchen, hospitality, or food service industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with an ability to communicate effectively with both guests and team members. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
