Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care. Operate cash registers, handle cash and card transactions, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment. Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and hygiene. Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks, adhering to food safety guidelines. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards. Experience Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and serving protocols. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
