Job Description

Our Food Prep Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and efficient kitchen, as well as, assisting with food prep, packaging, and storage. There are no front of house facilities; all food is delivered to our customers.
Essential responsibilities include:
Receive and store provisions following all food safety protocols including but not limited to proper food labeling, storage, and temperature controls. Wash, sanitize, and store bowls, trays, pans, prep tools and other kitchen equipment. Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen following daily, weekly, monthly and annual procedures. Schedule and monitor kitchen equipment preventative maintenance to ensure it operates at peak performance and to minimize waste. Food prep. Assist with the assembly and packing of boxes for shipment to customers. Highly qualified individuals will possess all or most of the following: High School diploma or equivalent. Restaurant experience preferred. Ability to stand for up to eight hours. Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to thirty-five (35) pounds, as well as bend, twist, kneel, and stoop. ANSI-accredited food handler training certificate (or willingness to complete the training). Punctual and reliable with a passion for food!
