Job Description:
Position reports to Catering Supervisor or Catering Manager Assist with setup and breakdown of catered events, including tables, linens, buffet stations, and service equipment. Prepare, portion, and present food items under the direction of the catering supervisor or chef. Deliver food, beverages, and supplies to event locations as needed. Provide courteous and efficient service to guests during events, ensuring satisfaction and professionalism. Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering work areas, vehicles, and storage spaces. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Assist with loading and unloading catering vehicles. Ensure accurate handling and return of catering equipment and supplies. Communicate effectively with catering team members and supervisors regarding event details or issues. Perform other related duties as assigned to support catering operations. Requirements:
Prior food service or catering experience preferred, but not required. Strong customer service and teamwork skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and special events as required. Valid driver's license is required. Additional Information:
Salary Range:
$20 - $22/hr Work Environment:
Work is performed in both kitchen and event environments, with frequent standing, walking, and carrying of supplies. May include indoor and outdoor settings, depending on event location. Benefits:
