We appreciate our employees and our staff's longevity is proof! We are currently seeking Food Service Workers to join our Freeport location. The Food Service Worker is responsible for assisting with food preparation for catering opportunities at the Freeport Vocational Center and handling other customer inquiries.

Complete kitchen clean-up tasks and prepare food for storage following appropriate food handling procedures. When requested, assist in completing inventories in store room and storage area by physically counting materials, to ensure all items are accounted for as well as to ensure sufficient food supply for next day. Provide guidance and training to other employees performing related work. Deliver a wide variety of food items to different sites as needed.

We require:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Qualified NYS Driver's License Knowledge of basic food quantity, food preparation, food service, and sanitation principles and food service experience Excellent communication skills and a focus on prompt, efficient, and courteous service Ability to complete basic math skills, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing Physical aspects may include, but are not limited to, lifting and transferring of food supplies Food Service Workers , for immediate consideration, please apply now!
