Job Description

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Food Assembly Helper- Tray Setter to join our growing New York Team! About DO & CO We have a passion for hospitality culinary delights on every banquet floor and in the sky. With the three business segments of Airline Catering, International Event Catering, and Restaurants, Lounges & Hotels, we offer gourmet entertainment all over the world. We operate in 33 locations, 12 countries and 3 Continents, maintaining the highest standard of quality in both our products and services. We refine the classics, develop the unknown and grow constantly - sometimes beyond our own expectations.
Responsibilities:
Assemble food items and tray settings in accordance with detailed airline specifications, including components such as hot meals, cold meals, salads, snacks, bread, butter, and condiments. Ensure all tray setups are accurately completed and meet quality and presentation standards. Follow airline and company guidelines to maintain consistency and customer satisfaction. Adhere to all hygiene and food safety regulations outlined in the food safety management system handbook. Report any concerns related to food safety or product quality to the line manager and hygiene and food safety team. Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift. Assist other team members as needed to ensure efficient production and timely completion of tasks. Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume food production or assembly role preferred. Proactive and self-organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet tight deadlines. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Capable of reading and following written instructions related to food handling and tray setup. Strong commitment to food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards. Flexible availability, including the ability to work different shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
