Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Hotel Breakfast Attendant and be the first to greet our guests with warmth and enthusiasm! In this lively role, you will ensure a seamless, enjoyable breakfast experience by preparing and maintaining a welcoming dining environment. Your energy and attention to detail will help set the tone for our guests' day, making their stay memorable from the moment they step into the breakfast area. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food service skills while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Duties Set up and arrange breakfast buffet stations with fresh food, beverages, and condiments, ensuring all items are appealing and well-stocked throughout service. Prepare simple food items such as pastries, fruit, cereals, and hot breakfast options in accordance with food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment, to uphold hygiene standards. Serve guests courteously, answer questions about menu items, and assist with dietary needs or special requests to enhance their dining experience. Replenish supplies regularly during service and assist in food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and presentation for buffet offerings or plated breakfasts. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Skills Previous experience in fine dining or food industry roles such as restaurant service, catering, or banquet work is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and excellent communication abilities. Knowledge of serving techniques, food preparation basics, and food safety protocols. Experience with food handling procedures, dietary accommodations, or as a dietary aide is a plus. Barista experience or familiarity with beverage preparation can be beneficial for serving coffee or specialty drinks. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Hospitality background that includes experience in hotel or restaurant settings is preferred. This position is ideal for energetic individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive on creating positive guest experiences through attentive service and culinary support.
