New York, NY Job Details Full-time $23 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Logistics Administrative experience Clerical experience Full Job Description A Havana Central Catering Administrative Assistant must be a highly motivated individual who is eager and ready to accept additional responsibilities when needed. This position will provide clerical and administrative support to the Catering Sales Manager. The person who will fill this important role will be responsible for interacting with guests to ensure excellent guest service as well as communicating the goals of the department with management. The ideal candidate has a friendly demeanor, the ability to learn new computer programs, can multitask and complete projects in a timely manner. This person should demonstrate exceptional customer service and problem solving skills. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to answering phones, sending contracts, maintaining files and department records and printing reports. Minimum 1 to 2 years administrative experience in hospitality, catering, restaurants or other food and beverage-oriented role. Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Knowledge of Tripleseat recommended but not required. An understanding of restaurant and catering operations, including staffing, rentals, logistics and decor required. Strong leadership and communication skills. Dependable, reliable and motivated Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
