Flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, and holidays required) Five Guys on Maiden Lane is hiring Crew Members. You will work in a busy, hot kitchen preparing food from scratch. This is a hands-on role where you will rotate through different stations during your shift. We do not require previous restaurant experience. We train you on the register, the fry station, and the grill.

What You Must Have:

Required:

At least 18 years old Ability to read, write, and speak basic English Willingness to work a variable schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred:

NYC Food Protection Certificate (earns an immediate $0.50/hr base pay increase)

Shift Responsibilities:

Cook burger patties on the grill to our exact standards. Cut fresh produce and prep raw ingredients every morning. Drop and salt orders at the fry station. Ring up orders on the register and greet walking customers. Call out orders clearly to keep the kitchen line moving. Check each wrapped order to ensure it is built correctly. Clean the dining area, sweep floors, and wipe down kitchen workspaces.
