Cafe Worker

Port City Cafe and Bakery We're looking for friendly and energetic Cafe Workers to join our team! In this role, you'll be the face of our café, helping to create a welcoming environment for guests while ensuring smooth operations behind the counter. Whether taking orders, preparing drinks, or maintaining a clean space, your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help deliver an outstanding experience for every visitor. Responsibilities Take customer orders accurately using POS. Prepare and serve coffee drinks & food items with care and precision. Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with basic math skills. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food handling and preparation areas. Assist with food service and food preparation to ensure timely delivery of orders. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests warmly and addressing their needs. Manage time effectively during busy periods to keep service flowing smoothly. Skills 1-2 years previous barista or food service experience is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems like Toast is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude. Good time management skills to juggle multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
