Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Part-time with availability for varied evening shifts. Weekend availability required. 1 year experience preferred in similar environment or guest service role. A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment. Refined verbal communication skills. Friendly, outgoing personality.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Approach guest encounters in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Take an active role in understanding and anticipating guest needs to provide authentic and personalized service. Ensure a timely response to guest requests and address concerns beyond satisfaction. Keep workstations neat and clean while serving. Clean station at end of shift. Use proper food handling and serving techniques when transporting food. Ensure timely food delivery to maintain optimal food temperature. Visually check each dish to ensure nothing is missed. Assist restaurant staff with duties such as clearing and cleaning tables, filling water glasses, refilling drinks, returning dishes to the kitchen and proper placement of soiled linens and trash. Record in-room dining orders and prepare and deliver meals in accordance with steps of service. Collect service trays and accompanying items at the completion of the dining experience. Process guest checks in compliance with cash handling, credit card and room charge policies and procedures. Complete assigned side work and related cleaning duties. Report to work when scheduled and in proper uniform. Maintain a consistent professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests, vendors and associates.
