Comfort Inn & Suites Schenectady-Scotia is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Breakfast Ambassador/Banquet Attendant to join our award-winning team!

6:00 AM - 10:30 AM (Breakfast served 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM)

What You'll Be Doing:

Breakfast Ambassador Duties:

Set up the breakfast area with fresh, delicious offerings before guests arrive. Greet every guest with a smile and make them feel welcome to start their day. Keep the breakfast buffet fully stocked, clean, and presentable at all times. Monitor food temperatures and freshness to ensure safe, quality service. Clean up the breakfast area, including wiping tables, emptying trash, and restocking supplies for the next day. Chat with guests, answer questions, and provide local recommendations when asked — be the morning face of our hotel! Banquet Attendant Duties (as scheduled): Set up meeting rooms or event spaces based on the banquet event order (BEO) — including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and any required AV equipment. Serve food and beverages during events such as meetings, social gatherings, or small receptions. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional event space throughout the function. Assist with event breakdown and room reset for the next group or function.

Who You Are:

Reliable and punctual — the morning crew can't start without you! Friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused — you enjoy helping people feel at home. Able to lift, carry, and move light equipment (tables, chairs, food supplies). Comfortable working independently in the mornings and as part of a team during banquets. Flexible schedule — available for breakfast shifts and occasional event hours (may include weekends and holidays).
