Cafeteria Helper - Part Time

Pay Range:

$16.00- $22.80 SUMMARY Assists in the preparation of food and maintaining the salad bar. Performs cash transactions for customers at the time of sale. Cleans and maintains the cafeteria area, including both the eating area and the kitchen.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cafeteria area, including both the eating area and the kitchen. Responsible for keeping napkins, cups and utensils fully stocked. Assist in preparation of food as needed. Perform cash transactions for customers at the time of sale. End each customer transaction with a "Thank You". Adhere to all safety policies, procedures and best practices while performing tasks in a manner that promotes safety at all times. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age. Satisfactory performance reviews. Strong communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Ability to read and write at the 8th grade level. At least 0-6 months of related experience. Customer service and cashier experience preferred. Kitchen preparation experience preferred.
