ON CALL BANQUET SET-UP

The Allyn Lodge is a premier wedding and events venue in the heart of the Finger Lakes, just outside the charming village of Skaneateles, New York. The largest freestanding timber structure in the state, it features floor-to-ceiling windows and a deck with stunning views of a private pond and the surrounding landscape. We are seeking dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as On-Call Banquet Setup Team Members. This position plays a key role in creating exceptional event experiences by ensuring all event spaces are properly prepared and maintained. Responsibilities- Set up banquet and event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- Review daily assignments and workload with the Catering Captain and team
- Inspect banquet rooms prior to events to ensure readiness and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms, equipment, floors, and walls
- Break down and properly store banquet furniture and equipment following events
- Maintain banquet equipment, storage areas, and workspaces in an organized and safe manner
- Report equipment needing repair or replacement to management promptly
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Assist team members as needed to ensure successful event execution
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, twist, and move banquet equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Organized, detail-oriented, and committed to quality work
