Job Description

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for providing excellent guest service while preparing, maintaining, and replenishing the hotel's breakfast area. This position ensures that guests enjoy a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming dining experience while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up the breakfast area before service begins, including food, beverages, utensils, and dining supplies. Prepare and replenish breakfast items according to hotel standards and guest demand. Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation throughout service hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, dining room, kitchen, and serving stations. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and respond promptly to guest requests. Clear and sanitize tables, counters, and food service areas. Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures in compliance with local health regulations. Monitor inventory levels and notify management of needed supplies and food items. Properly store food and supplies after breakfast service. Assist with light kitchen duties and other housekeeping tasks as assigned. Dispose of trash and recyclables and maintain a clean work environment. Work collaboratively with front desk, housekeeping, and management staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous customer service, food service, or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25-50 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and stretching. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
