Duties Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, including salads, sandwiches, hot entrees, and snacks Serve meals efficiently with friendly customer service, ensuring each guest feels appreciated and cared for Maintain cleanliness of the cafeteria area, including dining spaces, kitchen stations, and food prep areas Assist with food handling procedures to uphold strict food safety standards and prevent contamination Support catering events or banquet setups by organizing food displays and replenishing stations as needed Monitor inventory levels of supplies and ingredients; communicate needs for restocking or ordering Follow dietary guidelines and accommodate special dietary requests to meet diverse customer needs Experience Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or banquet settings Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities Experience serving in cafeterias, catering events, or restaurants enhances your ability to excel in this role Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is essential for maintaining high standards Barista experience or background in the food industry can be advantageous for preparing beverages or specialty items Dietary aide or catering experience adds valuable insight into specialized meal preparation and service techniques Previous work in hospitality environments that emphasize teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail will set you up for success Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels memorable dining experiences!
