• Job Overview:

• Urbana Brewing Co. is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our growing team in our brand-new, expanded kitchen! The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

• Available Hours/Shifts:

• 4 pm to 9:30 pm Wednesday-Thursday 4 pm to 10:30 pm Friday- Saturday 10 am to 4 pm Saturday10 am to 3 pm Sunday3pm to 8:30 pm Sunday Off Mondays and Tuesdays, with occasional special events available!

• Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.

Ensure food is prepared in a timely and accurate manner, including prepping and maintaining appropriate amount of ingredients for specific shift Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist in inventory management and stock rotation. Collaborate with other kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.

• Experience:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
