Job Description

Luther Home of Mercy, a residential facility for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Williston, Ohio is accepting application for Food Service Workers. Experience in healthcare setting with food service is helpful.
RESPONSIBLITIES
1. Assist with baking, vegetable and fruit preparation, salad preparation, serving, washing dishes, pots and pans and food service equipment. 2. Cleaning in preparation and serving areas. 3. Duties may include receiving, storage and delivery of stock; mopping of floors. 4. Responsibilities may include deliver and pick up of meal trays and supplies to the cottages. 5. Ability to follow verbal and written directions. 6. Performs other related duties as required.
ABILITY:
1. Physical and mental health required to perform position responsibilities, which includes the ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. in a bending, turning and twisting posture. 2. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8 hrs.) on hard cement floors. 3. Must be able to report to work to work in all-weather situations (rain, snow, heat, etc.).
