THE JOB:
As a Banquets Assistant Executive Steward at Aria, you will support daily operational functions within the department while helping deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will provide friendly, attentive service, understand guest needs, and take ownership of their experience to create memorable moments.
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Supervise assigned operational functions within the department, consistent with the strategic plan, fiscal budget, and the company's short-term and long-term profitability objectives. Supervise the delivery and measurement of guest service, consistent with the company's core service standards and brand attributes. Supervise assigned staff, including hiring recommendations that encompass the company's commitment to diversity, training, coaching, performance feedback, disciplinary recommendations and administration, and scheduling. Provide ideas and suggestions for new products, services, technology, and processes. Conduct routine inspections of all equipment and kitchen areas to ensure cleanliness and sanitary procedures are maintained. Requisition new and replacement equipment as needed. Approve requisitions related to all cleaning supplies and equipment, and monitor supply requisitions to ensure costs are kept to a minimum without compromising the quality or usage of materials. Maintain inventory and recordkeeping for all dinnerware, flatware, and glassware, and order china, glassware, and silver as needed.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of prior relevant experience. Experience in stewarding within the hotel/casino industry.
