Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Busser, where your passion for food, hospitality, and guest service will shine! This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our culinary and customer experience. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. Whether you're preparing meals, managing orders through POS systems, or providing outstanding guest relations, your energy and dedication will make a real difference every day. Responsibilities Prepare and serve food and beverages with attention to quality, presentation, and safety standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently. Assist with food prep tasks including chopping, cooking, meat cutting, and meal assembly. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning kitchen stations, dining areas, and equipment regularly. Support catering events by setting up, serving, and managing banquet functions. Provide excellent guest service by bussing tables, taking orders, and addressing customer inquiries with professionalism. Handle cash transactions accurately and manage cash handling procedures. Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling and hygiene standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours. Assist delivery drivers with order pickups or deliveries when needed. Manage phone etiquette for reservations or inquiries using platforms like OpenTable or similar systems. Maintain a positive attitude while supporting host/hostess duties such as greeting guests and managing waitlists. Experience Previous experience in food service roles such as server, bartender, barista, or culinary assistant is highly preferred. Experience working with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Knowledge of food preparation techniques including knife skills, meat cutting, and meal assembly is beneficial. Background in catering or banquet service enhances your ability to handle large events confidently. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential. Strong communication skills combined with excellent guest relations experience will help you succeed in this role. Experience in hospitality environments such as hotels or restaurants demonstrates your ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.
