Job Description

Overview The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services. This position involves assisting in the management of food and beverage operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with food safety and PA Liquor Control regulations & compliance The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a casual dining environment. Responsibilities Assist in overseeing daily operations of the food and beverage department. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe dining environment. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, and stock management. Support bartending activities, including drink preparation and serving to guests. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely service. Train and supervise staff in hospitality management practices to enhance service quality. Assist in developing menus and special promotions to attract customers. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a casual dining setting. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage guest relations effectively. Experience in inventory control processes is preferred. Bartending experience is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
