Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests during breakfast hours. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, ensuring that all food items are prepared and presented to the highest standards. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area. Responsibilities Prepare and present breakfast items according to established standards and recipes. Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are strictly followed. Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet, ensuring it is visually appealing and well-stocked. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and attending to their needs. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including coffee machines, toasters, and other appliances. Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to food service promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, including roles such as server, host/host, or barista. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, including cooking, meal preparation, and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of dietary aide practices or culinary skills is beneficial.
