Position Summary:

The Lake Grill Attendant is responsible for the daily operation of the lakefront grill, ensuring a clean, efficient, and welcoming food service environment. This role includes food preparation, cooking, customer service, and maintaining high standards of sanitation and organization throughout the workday.

Key Responsibilities:

Open the grill each day, ensuring all equipment is operational and the workspace is clean and ready for service Prepare all necessary food items and ingredients for daily service, including proper portioning and storage Prepare menu items while maintaining quality, consistency, and food safety standards Provide friendly and efficient customer service, including taking orders and serving food Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area at all times Follow all local health department regulations and food safety guidelines Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed throughout the day Perform end-of-day cleaning, breakdown, and preparation for the following day Properly store food and supplies to ensure freshness and minimize waste

Qualifications:

Previous food service or grill experience preferred Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work in an outdoor environment and handle varying weather conditions Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Work Environment:

This position operates in an outdoor, lakefront setting with exposure to heat, sun, and varying weather conditions.

Schedule:

Seasonal position with flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
