Job Description
- Maintain familiarity with Hotel property and current knowledge of services and opportunities, to be able to respond to guest inquiries.
- Skilled at handling guest concerns in a thorough and professional manner.
- Create an aesthetically pleasing presentation of the buffet line, including food, display pieces, plates, serviceware, toaster, and all equipment on the buffet for all meal times.
- Set up and maintain an aesthetically pleasing presentation of the beverage station, including hot and cold beverages, soda fountain, complimentary bar, and beverage hydration station.
- Serve alcohol at the designated times.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of Villa Concierge Lounge, front and back of house, including setting and clearing tables.
- Maintain an adequate stock of supplies and equipment, including ordering and retrieving deliveries in a timely manner, storing them with precise organization.
- Assist with transporting food, beverage, and amenity items to and from the Villas.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years or older. Must pass the accredited alcohol server test (RAMP) when hired.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be able to read, speak, and write English to acceptable standards. Must demonstrate an ability to work with limited supervision. Must have organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees. Must maintain a highly professional demeanor and adhere to the HE&R Core Values.Job Demands:
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to stand and exert well-placed mobility. Must be able to work in a safe and professional manner. This position is subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, frequently lift up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds. This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which most likely require evening and weekend hours.
