Position Summary Join our team in preparing fresh salads and sandwiches, supporting patient meal tray assembly, and assisting with cold food preparation for the Meals on Wheels program. This role plays an important part in delivering quality meals while maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Key Responsibilities Prepare salads and sandwiches according to established recipes and standards Set up, stock, and maintain salad and sandwich stations on the tray line Accurately portion and place items on patient trays Support tray line operations during meal service Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of prep, storage, and service areas Learn and follow diet specifications for patient meals Production Areas Patient cold sandwiches and salads Meals on Wheels program Grab & Go stations Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Work Schedule 8- and 10-hour shifts between 4:00 AM and 3:30 PM Includes every other weekend and holiday We believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
