Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional breakfast experience for our guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our breakfast offerings are prepared and presented to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for food service. Responsibilities Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Cook and prepare a variety of breakfast items, including hot dishes, pastries, and beverages. Maintain food safety standards during meal preparation and service. Buss tables promptly after guests have finished their meals to maintain a tidy dining area. Communicate effectively with guests to provide information about menu items and accommodate special requests. Utilize OpenTable or similar systems for managing reservations or guest inquiries. Assist with catering services as needed for special events or large groups. Ensure coffee and other beverage stations are well-stocked and maintained throughout service hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and presentation. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is preferred. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with bussing techniques and maintaining dining area cleanliness. Experience with meal preparation and catering services is a plus. Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and beverage service is desirable. Excellent phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries or reservations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing outstanding customer service in the hospitality industry.
