Job Description
Assistant Fresh Foods Manager - Grow Your Career Take the next step in your retail or foodservice career as an Assistant Fresh Foods Manager . You'll help lead a busy department, support a team of associates, and ensure high standards in food quality, safety, and presentation. What You'll Do Lead and support associates throughout the shift Assist with training, scheduling, and performance support Prepare fresh foods: slicing meats/cheeses, baking, frying, and tray building Maintain inventory, stock levels, and accurate signage Ensure safety, sanitation, and department standards Help monitor sales, labor, and department performance Support hiring and cross‑training Perform opening and closing tasks Qualifications Leadership experience in grocery, food service, or retail preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment Reliable, professional, and committed to quality Able to lift 75-100 lbs with team assistance Schedule Full‑time with weekend and holiday availability.
