Responsibilities Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling menu items according to established recipes and standards Support food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food trailer, ensuring all surfaces, utensils, and equipment meet sanitation standards Help with cooking processes, including grilling, frying, or assembling dishes as directed by the head chef or supervisor Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and hygiene procedures at all times Serve customers efficiently and courteously at the food trailer window or serving area Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments is highly desirable Strong knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking techniques across various cuisines Demonstrated knife skills and proficiency in basic food preparation methods Background in restaurant or kitchen environments with exposure to catering or large-scale food service is preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude This role is perfect for individuals passionate about culinary arts who thrive in energetic environments.
