Full Job Description Description:

We are looking for someone to prepare food for our animals here at the Austin Aquarium! In this position, you will be cutting up fish food and various types of other animal food such as koi food, millet, almonds, and seaweed. You will fill recyclable food capsules, empty and refill the capsule machines throughout the day. We are a family friendly facility, applicants must have an enthusiastic and positive attitude, comfortable to work with children of all ages and animals.

Job Duties:

Refill capsule machines with animal food Walk around with animal food cart for customer purchase Put new liners in recycling bins Empty the capsule recycling bins Prepare animal food and put into capsules Clean and sort recycled capsules Empty tokens out of gumball machines (used for capsules) Keep workspace clean and tidy Help other departments when needed Must be a team player with a positive attitude Must not have any allergies to shellfish, nuts and fish Flexible availability and open to full shifts
