ABOUT OTTINE MINERAL SPRINGS
Ottine Mineral Springs, nestled beside Palmetto State Park, is a historic treasure renowned for its rich legacy and commitment to health and wellness. Our extraordinary waters are rich in natural minerals and have long been known to promote relaxation, reduce stress and support overall well-being. Today, we carry on this tradition by offering a peaceful retreat where guests can experience the rejuvenating power of these waters in a calming setting that only nature can provide.
POSITION
: BUSSER Ottine Mineral Springs is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member to support our food service and hospitality operations. This role includes bussing tables, washing dishes, removing trash, and maintaining clean, welcoming dining and guest areas. This position will play a key part in creating a calm, orderly, and nourishing environment for our guests. This position is part of an exciting new restaurant concept opening within our resort in mid-August 2026. Official start dates expected to be finalized in early August. This position requires some nights, weekends and holidays.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Bus and reset tables quickly and neatly in dining and guest areas. Assisting in cleaning dishware and kitchenware Maintain cleanliness of dining, kitchen, and dishwashing areas throughout the day. Remove trash and recycling from dining areas, kitchens, and public spaces. Stock supplies such as napkins, dish soap, and cleaning products as needed Assist Food + Beverage department with light prep, cleaning, or restocking tasks Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and healthy environment. Maintain the polishing and dispersal of dishware throughout the shift Ensure cleanliness in the restrooms is maintained throughout the day Report maintenance or cleanliness issues to the supervisor promptly. Support setup and breakdown of meal service or special events when needed. Contribute to a calm, positive, guest-centered atmosphere. Be in service to our guest by attending to their needs with a warm, friendly and respectful presence. Have a thorough understanding of the amenities and directions to / from resort. Participate in team meetings and training sessions. Stay updated on safety and emergency procedures as well as OSHA requirements. Due to changing operational demands and the need to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to undertake various functions that are not specifically related to this position. This individual may be required to carry out additional tasks and duties as needed or as directed. Additionally, employee responsibilities and job descriptions are subject to review and modification.
REQUIREMENTS
: Ability to work evenings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays required. Valid Texas food handler card High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Six (6) months related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred. Ability to follow sanitation, safety, and cleanliness standards consistently Reliability, punctuality, and professional communication skills are critical. Team player and good communication skills and willingness to help wherever needed. Comfortable interacting with guests in a warm, respectful, and professional manner. Ability to work under pressure with a high level of patience and customer service. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. CPR and first aid certification a plus and /or the willingness to be trained. Ability to walk or stand and move about the resort (both indoors and outdoors) for eight or more hours per day, sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds. The position requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures, and the capacity to communicate effectively and professionally. COMPENSATION
