Full Job Description Buffet Preparation:

Arrange dishes, silverware, napkins, and serving utensils neatly before service begins.

Food Prep & Replenishment:

Prepare basic items (e.g., pastries, fruits, cereal) and stock dispensers for coffee, juices, and milk.

Quality Assurance:

Check food quality and temperature to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Guest Relations:

Greet guests warmly, provide a welcoming atmosphere, and answer any questions regarding food offerings or dietary requirements.

Continuous Restocking:

Monitor food and beverage levels closely to prevent items from running out during busy periods.

Bussing & Cleaning:

Clear used plates and utensils from tables as guests vacate them. Quickly wipe down tables, reset chairs, and mop up spills

Breakdown:

Remove leftover food from the buffet and pack it away following proper food storage guidelines.

Deep Cleaning:

Wash serving equipment, wipe down counters, and thoroughly sweep or mop the dining area floors.

Inventory & Prep:

Report any shortages in inventory and prepare necessary requisitions for the following day's shift
