In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, serving, and managing nutritious meals and snacks in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Your energy and attention to detail will help foster positive mealtime experiences that support children's growth and development. Duties Prepare and serve age-appropriate meals and snacks following strict dietary guidelines and safety standards Ensure all food handling procedures meet food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas Assist with food portioning, plating, and presentation to create an inviting mealtime atmosphere Support dietary needs by accommodating allergies, special diets, or cultural preferences with care and precision Maintain accurate records of meal counts, dietary restrictions, and sanitation logs Collaborate with childcare staff to coordinate meal times smoothly and promote positive eating habits among children Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining spaces to uphold hygiene standards Qualifications Previous experience in food service, catering, banquet service, or restaurant environments is highly desirable Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Experience in food preparation, serving, or catering within the food industry or hospitality sectors Familiarity with dietary accommodations and allergy management for children or special populations Barista experience or fine dining background is a plus for creating appealing meal presentations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior experience as a dietary aide or in the food industry enhances your suitability for this role This position is an excellent fit for individuals passionate about early childhood development who thrive in dynamic environments.
