The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service during breakfast hours, assist with food preparation, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary and customer service skills within a dynamic hotel or restaurant setting. The Breakfast Attendant is essential in ensuring guests enjoy a satisfying and seamless breakfast experience, contributing to the overall guest satisfaction and reputation of our establishment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and presentation standards Set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all items are stocked, fresh, and visually appealing Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu options, and provide excellent customer service Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables, bussing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for guest transactions Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Restock supplies and ensure proper storage of food items in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery times Handle guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Support catering or banquet events as needed, including setup and breakdown Requirements Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred; kitchen experience or culinary background is a plus Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and phone etiquette Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work mornings during breakfast hours; availability on weekends is advantageous Experience with meal preparation, coffee service, or barista skills is beneficial but not required Basic cleaning skills for maintaining hygiene standards in dining areas and kitchen spaces Friendly demeanor with guest relations skills to ensure a positive guest experience This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork, hospitality expertise, and attention to detail are valued.
