In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests enjoying our breakfast service, ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere while delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help set the tone for a memorable guest stay, fostering a lively and positive environment from the moment guests arrive. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and contribute to a vibrant team dedicated to excellence. Hours are 5:30am-11:30am= 5 days a week and weekends are mandatory. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Our Hotel breakfast is continental and consists of a variety of cereals, milks, bagels, muffins, etc. Set up breakfast areas, including tables, buffets, and serving stations, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service hours and after clean up the area and sweep and mop the lobby and hallways. Greet guests warmly, assist with food selections, and answer questions about menu options or dietary accommodations. Replenish food displays promptly, manage food safety protocols, and handle food handling with care to ensure freshness and safety. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery, especially during busy periods or special catering events. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including clearing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support catering and banquet functions by serving food and beverages efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Experience Previous experience in food service environments is preferred Experience working in hospitality settings is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and create a welcoming atmosphere. Familiarity with dietary accommodations and dietary aide experience is beneficial for catering to guest needs. Experience in food preparation, serving, or catering roles will help you excel in this fast-paced environment.
