Responsibilities Prepare and serve breakfast items with efficiency and attention to quality, including hot dishes, cold foods, beverages, and specialty items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, adhering strictly to food safety sanitizing procedures. Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their experience. Restock buffet stations, replenish supplies, and ensure all food displays are appealing and well-maintained throughout service. Follow proper manual handling techniques when setting up tables, clearing dishes, or handling heavy trays or equipment. Ensure compliance with food safety management protocols, including temperature checks and sanitation standards. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for guest transactions while maintaining a professional demeanor. Requirements Previous experience in fine dining, food service, or hospitality environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling best practices is essential. Experience with wine knowledge or beverage service is a plus. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude. Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving and catering functions. Experience working with POS systems for order processing and payments. Knowledge of dietary accommodations and food industry standards is advantageous. Previous banquet or culinary experience will be considered an asset.
