In this energetic role, you'll be the first smiling face our guests see, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while preparing and maintaining a delicious breakfast service. Your attention to detail and passion for food service will contribute to a seamless, enjoyable start to every guest's day. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary and customer service skills in a lively hospitality environment. Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Set up breakfast buffet stations, including arranging food displays, utensils, and condiments for optimal guest convenience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including food handling, sanitation, and equipment upkeep. Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, portioning, and assembling menu items using proper knife skills and food safety protocols. Support guest relations by providing friendly, attentive service, answering questions about menu options, and accommodating dietary needs. Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift to ensure smooth operation during busy breakfast hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery while adhering to health regulations and safety standards. Previous kitchen experience or food preparation background is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cashiering. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with catering, banquet service, or hotel food service operations is a plus. Basic cleaning, bussing, and meal prep skills necessary for maintaining a hygienic workspace. Experience with coffee making or barista duties is advantageous for beverage service. Knowledge of dietary accommodations and food allergy protocols ensures guest safety. Strong teamwork ethic combined with open communication skills enhances overall service quality.
