Job Description

Busser -
Spotted Dog Overview:
Enhances service flow and dining room presentation through speed, attentiveness, and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Clear, reset, and maintain tables quickly and silently. Support duties like refilling water, providing bread, and running food as needed. Keep dining areas and service stations clean.
Qualifications:
Must be fast, observant, and service-focused. Willing to learn and work as part of a team. Hospitality experience is preferred.

Dining Room Manager /
Shift Supervisor Role:
Supports the front-of-house team by maintaining the cleanliness, setup, and flow of the dining area to ensure a seamless and positive guest experience.
Responsibilities:
Table Maintenance & Turnover:
Ensures dining tables are prepared for new guests promptly and efficiently, maximizing seating availability. Clear and sanitize tables, chairs, and surrounding floor areas immediately upon guest departure. Reset tables accurately with clean place settings, silverware, and glassware according to established standards. Maintain a consistently clean and professional appearance of the dining room throughout service.
Service Support & Guest Assistance:
Actively assists servers and ensures foundational guest needs are met quickly and attentively. Refill water glasses for all guests and ensure water pitchers are always full and accessible. Deliver bread service, condiments, and other support items as requested by servers. Provide food running support from the kitchen to the dining room, ensuring quick and accurate delivery of plated dishes. Assist servers by removing extra plates or debris from tables during the meal to maintain guest comfort.
Area Cleanliness & Organization:
Maintains the cleanliness and organization of service stations and common areas to uphold hygiene standards. Transport soiled dishware to the dishwashing area and properly sort items (e.g., glass, silver, china) to assist the dish team. Keep dining areas, including floors, walkways, and high-traffic zones, free of spills and debris. Stock and organize all service stations with clean silverware, glassware, napkins, and necessary side items before and during service. Communicate any equipment, maintenance, or cleaning issues to a manager immediately.
Qualifications & Training:
Skills & Attributes:
Must be fast-moving, highly observant, and possess a strong work ethic. Demonstrates a positive attitude and a commitment to exceptional service and teamwork. Must be physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and handle a dynamic and demanding service environment.
Experience & Availability:
Prior experience in hospitality, food service, or a fast-paced environment is preferred. Willingness to learn all restaurant standards, procedures, and safety protocols. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required to meet business needs.
Pay:
From $7.25 per hour
