Assistant to Catering Manager

Job Summary We are a growing catering company specializing in ice cream catering for events and celebrations. Our team is passionate about creating memorable experiences for our clients, and we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant to support our Catering Manager this summer and on her maternity leave in September/October. Description The Assistant to the Catering Manager will help with both in-office preparation and on-site catering services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes as well as being part of live event execution.

Responsibilities include:

Prepping catering supplies and ensuring everything is event-ready Packing ice cream boxes from freezer into catering bags Assisting the Catering Manager with day-to-day operational tasks Helping with load-in, set-up, serving, and clean-up at events Maintaining organization of catering storage and supplies Other related tasks as needed to support catering operations

Qualifications:

Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift/carry catering supplies (up to 50lbs) Previous catering, food service, or event experience a plus, but not required Schedule & Pay Looking for someone with an open schedule that can come in when needed by Manager. Preferably not doing school in the fall and has open schedule. 5-10 hours in office weekly, with additional hours for events.
