We are seeking enthusiastic adult / college student customer-oriented individuals to fill the roles of Cashier Server and Food Preparer. Responsibilities:

Cashier Server:

Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing an excellent first impression. Efficiently and accurately handle customer transactions, including cash, credit cards, and digital payments. Answer customer inquiries about menu items, and specials, and provide recommendations. Maintain a clean and organized cashier station. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly. Upsell and promote special items or add-ons to enhance the customer experience. Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

Food Preparer:

Prepare and assemble menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure food quality and freshness by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized food preparation area, following health and safety standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate the timing of food orders and ensure smooth service. Monitor and restock ingredients to maintain an efficient workflow. Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and control costs. Assist in receiving and inspecting food deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Cashier Server:

Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Knowledge or interest in Jamaican cuisine is a plus.

Food Preparer:

Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role in the restaurant industry. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with kitchen staff.
