Part Time Multiple shifts available Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Server to join our team in providing exceptional food service in an assisted living environment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that residents receive nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork within the dietary department. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with established dietary guidelines and resident preferences. Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations. Help maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment. Support the dietary department by delivering meals to residents, ensuring timely service, and addressing any special dietary requirements. Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage inventory, including receiving and storing food supplies properly. Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with residents and responding to their needs during meal times. Participate in training sessions related to food safety, culinary skills, and dietary regulations. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dietary Aide or in a similar role within an assisted living or healthcare setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards residents and staff alike. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding cleanliness and sanitation practices. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed. Maintaining a current Washington State Food Handler card.
