Overtime Available Pay:
$17.00 per hour, x1.5 OT rate We are seeking motivated and dependable Food Service Workers to support emergency response operations during the 2026 Wildland Fire Season . This position plays a critical role in ensuring firefighters and emergency personnel receive quality meals while deployed to wildfire incidents throughout the western United States. ServSafe Certificatior or similar and a Driver's License is required. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and meal service Set up and maintain serving lines Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout kitchen and dining areas Stock food, beverages, and supplies Assist with receiving and storing inventory Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures Support kitchen staff and supervisors as directed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in food service, hospitality, catering, restaurants, cafeterias, dining services, or commercial kitchens preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work as part of a team Excellent customer service skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements Preferred Experience Restaurant or fast-food experience Catering or banquet service Institutional food service Military food service operations Camp, field feeding, disaster response, or emergency response experience Warehouse or inventory experience
