Hotel Breakfast/Public Space Attendant- Saturday/Sunday

Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Saturday-Sunday Hotel Breakfast/Public Space Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will create a welcoming environment for guests and visitors alike. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, inviting, and well-organized breakfast area and public spaces, ensuring every guest's experience starts with a smile. Your enthusiasm will help set the tone for a memorable stay, fostering comfort and satisfaction from the moment they step through our doors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer interaction, and hospitality operations. This position will be the hours of 6am-11am in breakfast, then transitioning to public space areas from 11am-2pm. If interested in more hours, there is a chance to pick up hours in housekeeping during the week days ranging from ~ 5-8 hours a day for this opportunity. Duties Maintain cleanliness and organization of public spaces, including lobbies, hallways, and seating areas Replenish food and beverage items throughout service hours while adhering to food safety standards Assist guests with inquiries regarding breakfast options or hotel amenities in a friendly and professional manner Monitor the breakfast area for spills or hazards, promptly addressing any safety concerns Support food handling and serving procedures in accordance with health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely service during busy periods Requirements Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments is highly preferred Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Experience with food handling, preparation, or serving in fine dining or banquet settings is advantageous Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending as needed Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members Previous barista or restaurant experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about creating welcoming spaces and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
