This involves transporting heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance floors, etc. from storage area to meeting rooms. Responsible for timely and safe breakdown of meeting rooms after event completion. Reset products for the next function. Maintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms so the rooms stay presentable at all times. Ensure cleanliness and organizations done in a timely manner and to assist supervisor during large functions. Take on additional tasks as necessary or assigned by Banquet Captain. You should be able to… Communicate with guests, other associates and supervisor. Lift and move multiple tables and chairs and podiums weighing up to 100 lbs. through a crowded room with or without reasonable accommodations. Knowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles used in meeting rooms.
