Position Overview
The Food Operations Worker II position is responsible for performing and leading handsâon operational tasks involving the receiving storage cleaning packaging and shipping of grain within a small teamâbased facility. The role includes operating mobile equipment such as forklifts power hand jacks scissor lifts and stretch wrappers as well as utilizing HMI controls to support daily operations. A strong safety mindset is essential with an expectation of continuous situational awareness proper material placement and maintaining safe walkways and work areas. Employees work closely within small teams follow GMP standards and support facility housekeeping and upkeep in a physically active environment that includes dust exposure and nonâtemperatureâcontrolled conditions. This position is ideal for hardâworking individuals who are dependable take pride in their work are eager to expand their skill set and contribute positively to a collaborative safetyâfocused operation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform assigned food grain operations tasks including but not limited to general facility upkeep operating processing equipment sampling for quality and packaging.
Operate various types of mobile equipment such as a forklift bobcat or payloader.
Lead the activities of the operations team and ensure operations run efficiently and safely.
Utilize the Food Safety Management System to input facility operations activities data analyze system data and perform necessary adjustments.
Maintain a good working knowledge and adherence to all food safety policies and procedures.
Perform all tasks in a fashion that promotes the safety and quality of our products.
Actively participate in all required food safety and quality related meetings and training events.
Identify and report all food safety and quality issues to management immediately.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
5+ yearsâ relevant experience required
