Part-time Job Summary:
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, setting up, maintaining, and cleaning the breakfast area at a hotel. This includes ensuring a clean, organized, and well-stocked breakfast buffet while providing excellent guest service.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain breakfast buffet according to hotel standards. Prepare basic food items (e.g., coffee, toast, eggs, fruit, yogurt). Replenish food and beverage items as needed throughout the breakfast hours. Greet guests warmly and provide assistance or information about breakfast items. Ensure the dining and buffet area is clean, organized, and inviting at all times. Clean and sanitize tables, counters, equipment, and serving areas regularly. Follow food safety and hygiene regulations (including temperature checks and proper storage). Assist guests with special dietary needs or requests. Monitor inventory and notify supervisor when supplies need to be reordered. Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas. Close breakfast service, clean up the area, and prepare for the next day.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus. Basic knowledge of food handling and safety regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Friendly, professional, and punctual. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Work Schedule:
Early morning shifts (typically 5:30 AM - 11:00 AM) 2 days a week Weekends and holidays required
