Job Description

Dining Support Staff are responsible for assisting servers, hosts, and bartenders in the service of Food and Beverage service in multiple fine dining and casual outlets at the club. Previous experience in Food and Beverage is preferred, but not required for this positon.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and break down service areas in the dining room, bar, and deck (weather permitting). Follow club standards for steps of service consistently with all guests. Graciously run food, refill beverages, and clear settings throughout service period. Be a team player who works well with other service and support staff, managers, and other club employees to deliver seamless service to membership. Build and develop rapport and familiarity with our members. Provide consistent and personalized service. Display positive attitude and exercise polite and professional communication. Consistently maintains professional appearance. Adhere to uniform and grooming policy. Maintain tidiness in all work environments: POS stations, dining room, kitchen, etc. Keep bar and dining areas well stocked at the beginning, middle, and end of shift.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Introductory knowledge of food, wine, spirits, beer, and cocktails. Excellent customer service skills. Efficient time management and ability to effectively take direction. Proficiency in Open Table and understanding of dining room reservations, or willingness to learn. Working knowledge Jonas POS, or willingness to learn.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each Primary Responsibility. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and abilities required. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 1
year food and beverage experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lift up to 50 pounds. Perform bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, Walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and grasping.
